Phil's Olympic Success!

Everyone at HFHC is very proud of one of our residents from The Old Vicarage. Phillip Smith is on the Special Olympic swim team and attends all the regional competitive swim meets, where he recently won a Silver Medal for backstroke - a fantastic achievement!
LDPB Vote for HFHC

The Lincolnshire Learning Disability Partnership Board recently invited all Lincolnshire providers to come together and vote on which four providers should sit on the LDPB Executive. We are delighted to report that Home From Home Care was one of those elected to take on this role.
Football crazy

Some of the HFHC guys have been learning fancy footwork at the Lincoln Football Ground as part of the Special Olympics Lincolnshire series of training sessions. This project offers anyone with a learning disability the opportunity to play football in a fun and competitive environment, with a chance to represent Linconshire or even Great Britain.
Sport Relief Success

Well done to everyone on Team HFHC, who all completed the sponsored charity mile and raised over two hundred pounds for Sport Relief.

Floating voters?

With the General Election looming, some of the guys from HFHC have been along to the MENCAP "My Vote Counts" workshop, to find out exactly how the election process works, to hear about some of policy differences between the main parties, and to have a chance to directly question some politicians (pictured) for themselves.
