Day Care

We have developed a range of Day Opportunities for local people with learning disabilities where we successfully provide personalised services for those with high support needs.

There are currently two bases from which Day Opportunities are planned and delivered.

Both bases offer excellent facilities which include a kitchen/diner, sensory room and generous space for craft or educational activities.

Many of the daily activities take place away from the base, using local resources and community facilities, which promotes independence and helps to build a fulfilling life.

A plan for each person is developed to ensure their opportunities are needs-led and result in positive outcomes.

Day Opportunities are flexible and can range from a few hours support a week for a specific activity, to several days where a varied support plan can be provided.

Day Opportunities are available seven days a week; they can also be accessed during the evening.

Individuals can also register with the National Proficiency Testing Council (NPTC) and achieve accredited and recognised City and Guilds Foundation Qualifications.
