70’s May Ball

This weekend’s May Ball was a great success with two evenings of groovy 70’s disco themed fun!

Held at Market Rasen Festival Hall, Home From Home’s annual fancy-dress May Ball was split over Friday and Saturday night, with residents across all Micro Communities celebrating with family members and staff.

Having picked the 70’s theme for their ball, everyone enjoyed making or buying costumes with staff – arriving in colourful flared outfits, hip headbands and wonderful wigs! Boogie Nights displays, balloons and bunting created a great backdrop for the 70’s vibe, with everyone enjoying a delicious hog roast before hitting the dance floor with friends.

Home From Home Care now supports 85 individuals, across five Micro Communities, making social events like the May Ball a great opportunity for everyone to enjoy a night out together. With placements funded by 38 local authorities, families also travelled from across the country to join in the celebration.

Thank you to everyone for coming and working so hard to make the weekend such a memorable event.
