Living Life to the Full

HFHC Days Out

The ethos at HFHC is to ensure every individual that we have the privilege to support is able to live a fulfilling and active life and to meet personal aspirations regardless of their complex needs. Not everyone enjoys the same activity however, which is why we build activities around the individuals and not the other way around – giving them a say in what they do.

In recent weeks this has resulted in some very diverse activities and days trips being undertaken. These have included a trip to a trampoline park, a visit to the fire station, bowling, horse riding, going to a local disco, enjoying a day at a snow dome and a day at Yorkshire Wildlife Park.

Avid football fan Jamie, also had an incredible day out recently – visiting Arsenal’s Emirate Stadium in London. This was an interest specific to Jamie. As well as meeting some of the team’s footballing legends, he was also able to visit exclusive access areas of the stadium which are usually off limits to the public. It was an extremely enjoyable day. All our differing excursions are tailored around each individual’s preferences and interests resulting in active and fulfilling days.

You could be part of this unique model of support, working for a family-run business which truly cares about individuals.

We are currently recruiting for a number of roles including Support Worker, Senior Support Worker, Night Support Worker, Settlement & Support Worker, Team Leader and PBS Partner, to work in our residential homes across Lincolnshire.
