Now Autumn is upon us and the weather has turned chilly, we have been getting creative with a variety of seasonal craft activities.
Throughout our Myicro Living Communities, we have been getting in to the spooky spirit of Halloween by creating ghoulish Halloween costumes and carving scary pumpkins. Joining in with festive celebrations, enables the individuals we support to feel part of the community and marks the passing of the year.
Expressing creativity can be a fun past time and helps individuals practice fine motor skills, focus and concentration. Home From Home Care support individuals to participate in a wide variety of activities, employing a layered activities approach. Individuals are supported with intensive, focused and relaxed activities allowing them to be well supported while working towards their outcomes, socialising and having fun.
