Home From Home Care is delighted to announce that three more of their specialist homes – ‘Cherry Tree Lodge’, ‘Orchard Lodge’ and ‘The Old Hall’- have been rated Outstanding overall by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Based in Lincolnshire, Home From Home Care is the UK’s largest family-led specialist residential care provider, supporting over 80 complex individuals, across 11 registered homes. With ‘The Oaks’ and ‘The Reeds’ already rated Outstanding status, 45% of its services are now rated Outstanding, 11 times the national average of 4%, putting Home From Home Care at the forefront of high-quality innovative care.
The CQC reports cited Home From Home Care’s leadership as ‘exceptional and distinctive’ with individuals in their care ‘supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives’, with ‘personalised care that was exceptionally responsive to their needs’. A relative summarised this in their comment: “Care has surpassed what we could have ever imagined!”
The reports also highlighted how individuals at Home From Home Care felt consulted, empowered, listened to, valued and ‘supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives’. CQC also commended Home From Home Care for involving individuals in the recruitment of staff, deciding their own set of qualities and attributes to look for in prospective care teams.
Throughout both reports, Home From Home Care’s unique ‘real time’ data management recording system was heralded, enabling learning to be shared quickly across the service and wider organisation.
Paul de Savary, Home From Home Care’s Managing Director says: “We are delighted that CQC’s inspectors have recognised three more of our homes as Outstanding and the exceptional staff who make this happen every day.
“We are driven by improving each individual’s life, from their bespoke environment designed around their specific needs to matching empathetic staff who want to make every day a fulfilling day.
“We have created a New Model of Care that is dynamic and pioneering and only made possible because of our unique data driven systems created over 10 years, which deliver transparency and collaborative working. This changes the lives of both those receiving the care and those delivering it.
“It’s about a shared ethos and passion that drives continuous improvement making it an everyday expectation as we must never forget that it is both a privilege and a reward to support society’s most vulnerable individuals.”
