Personal Support Multi-base Worker
Are you passionate about helping others?
The individuals we support want the people who support with them to listen, care for them and most importantly help them enjoy the same things you enjoy doing.
Do you think you could be the support worker they are looking for?
Would you like to work in a role where every day is different?
Support workers at Home From Home Care help individuals to get involved in a huge range of activities – from the adventurous, such as rock climbing and horse riding, to the more day-to-day, such as shopping and supporting them to clean their home.
This vital and responsible role requires someone who is willing to work flexibly to meet the individual’s needs, supporting them to achieve outcomes. We all take for granted the ability to go shopping, for a walk in the park or catching up with friends. For many vulnerable people these everyday activities are beyond their reach, we support individuals to overcome significant barriers and live an ‘ordinary life’.
Some days will be tough but the rewards can be incredible.
Home From Home Care support your career. This starts with a thorough and supportive induction training programme to ensure you have a good level of knowledge. Shadow shifts start from day 2 so you can get to know the individuals you are supporting and learn hands-on from the more experienced staff you are working alongside. You will also receive specialist support from a training mentor and HR mentor as you get used to your new role.
As you develop and build your skills there are opportunities to specialise and apply for secondments to develop your career further.
We provide a two-week repeating rota, ensuring you have every other weekend off and you can plan ahead. You will also have five weeks leave per year.
Our strong One Team working approach means that everyone works together to achieve shared goals. Join our team.
“The team are the best I’ve ever worked with. Everyone is so passionate and enthusiastic and because of this, we get a lot of success with the individuals we support.”
