Looking for a career where you can grow, develop your skills and share in the joy of doing something amazing?
We’re looking for energetic, enthusiastic and compassionate Night Support Workers to join our growing team at Home From Home Care. For this role, you will need a keen drive to make a difference to the lives of the individuals we support.
About the role
As a Night Support Worker your focus will be to work with complex individuals who may have complex behaviours that challenge. On a daily basis you’ll work as part of our ONE TEAM to deliver exceptional care and support within the homes. A large part of your role is to help individuals gain new life skills, connect with their communities, and provide outcomes to help them to live an ‘ordinary’ life.
When you join, you’ll receive 2 weeks of paid induction, which includes comprehensive training and shadow shifts with the individuals we support.
We have 11 homes over 5 locations in Lincolnshire, with roles based in Bardney, Dorrington, Fiskerton, Ruskington and Stallingborough. On some occasions you may be required to travel between homes.
Night Support Workers needed
As a Night Support Worker, you’ll be part of a supportive and closely knit team delivering exceptional care to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs living in our care homes.
Rated Platinum by Investors in People and Outstanding by the CQC, we believe that care should be a career that’s rewarding, where you’ll be respected and where your wellbeing is supported while you make a real difference to peoples’ lives.
**All our team members earn at least £11.15/hour regardless of age!**
✔ £19,371 – £30,442 per annum (dependent on skills and experience)
✔ Part time and full-time contracts available
✔ Standby sleep-in requirement (to be paid £80.19 per sleep-in completed)
✔ Generous in-work benefits (see below)
Working with people with learning disabilities and complex needs is an amazing experience and a fantastic career, but we only recruit people with empathy, ambition, compassion, a willingness to help and a real commitment to our clients.
Everything we do is about helping people to live their lives to the fullest, encouraging them to try new things, learn new life skills, connect with their communities and live an ‘ordinary’ life. No day is alike: One day, you’ll be going on a trip to the shops, the next you’re bringing a surprise horse to a birthday party or arranging an inflatable pub (yes, this happened). You’ll be getting out and about, helping people experience different exciting, fun activities and trying new things.
Thanks to our unique, data-driven systems and our One Team approach, a career with Home From Home Care is unlike working with any other care provider.
Our mentoring scheme means you’ll keep gaining skills, knowledge and experience throughout your career, helping you progress into senior roles fast: Almost all of our Registered and Assistant Managers joined us as Support Workers, having been trained and promoted internally.
We’re also passionate about the health and wellbeing of our team members and we respect diversity and work-life balance: We offer multiple shift patterns to suit your needs and we have a supportive environment where everyone is cared for.
This amazing opportunity will see you start your career as a Support Worker, but, with drive and determination, you really can progress to any role, whether it’s as a manager, IT tech guru or a member of our transitions team or somewhere in between.
