Working with people with learning disabilities and complex needs is an amazing experience and a fantastic career, but we only recruit people with empathy, ambition, compassion, a willingness to help and a real commitment to our clients.
Everything we do is about helping people to live their lives to the fullest, encouraging them to try new things, learn new life skills, connect with their communities and live an ‘ordinary’ life. No day is alike: One day, you’ll be going on a trip to the shops, the next you’re bringing a surprise horse to a birthday party or arranging an inflatable pub (yes, this happened). You’ll be getting out and about, helping people experience different exciting, fun activities and trying new things.
Thanks to our unique, data-driven systems and our One Team approach, a career with Home From Home Care is unlike working with any other care provider.
Our mentoring scheme means you’ll keep gaining skills, knowledge and experience throughout your career, helping you progress into senior roles fast: Almost all of our Registered and Assistant Managers joined us as Support Workers, having been trained and promoted internally.
We’re also passionate about the health and wellbeing of our team members and we respect diversity and work-life balance: We offer multiple shift patterns to suit your needs and we have a supportive environment where everyone is cared for.
This amazing opportunity will see you start your career as a Support Worker, but, with drive and determination, you really can progress to any role, whether it’s as a manager, IT tech guru or a member of our transitions team or somewhere in between.
