Our PBS Recruitment Partners are now fully embedded in the recruitment process for our staff.
They are an invaluable asset to recruitment and recently formed part of a panel for internal staffing interviews. This involved the Partners asking difficult questions to candidates seeking promotion, to ensure the right suitability for positions available.
All the Recruitment Partners undertook a training programme to support their new role. This developed their communication skills, helped them determine the most important qualities of the candidates and gave them an opportunity to practice their interview skills.
For all the individuals involved, being able to have a say on the staff member selected to support them is vital for truly person-centred care. All our Recruitment Partners are really proud of their role in the scheme.
The Recruitment Partner Project will run multiple times a year to allow more individuals to be involved in this empowering project.
