Spooktacular Celebrations!

Halloween Party HFHC

Halloween ended with a bang on Saturday, with over 50 individuals that we support partying the night away.

In the lead up to the event, individuals enjoyed creating spooky skeletons for decorations and carving pumpkins for the pumpkin competition. Staff and individuals also put lots of effort into their costumes, arriving in an array of scary outfits…from witches and wizards to even a coffin!

Events such as the Halloween Party are important social events, with staff helping individuals prepare for and enjoy the event, with a focus on inclusion – ensuring everyone an access the party on their own terms. Having a quieter period beforehand means those who don’t enjoy loud music or crowds can still experience the party and a breakout room upstairs showing Halloween films was available for anyone who needed a quieter space.

Halloween decorations set the scene and created a spooky entrance. The dance floor was filled, and a delicious hog roast was on the menu. Once everyone had a enjoyed a feast, certificates were awarded for the best dancers and best costumes, with lots of celebrating to follow!

Everyone enjoyed the event and left with smiles on their faces.
