We are very pleased to announce that Home From Home Care has been highly commended in the Employer of the Year category at this year’s National Learning Disabilities & Autism Awards!
Home From Home Care colleague Hazel was also a finalist in the Learning Disability Nurse Award category, while our team at Kirk House were finalists in the Positive Risk Taking category.
Home From Home Care was announced as the highly commended employer of the year at the National Learning Disabilities & Autism Awards 2023, which took place at the International Convention Centre in Birmingham on Friday 30 June 2023.
Highly commended as Employer of the Year
We were shortlisted alongside 11 other organisations from across the country- we were the only highly commended employer, narrowly missing out on the top prize. The judges said:
“Home from Home Care is breaking the mould of what is possible in social care.
“They are using data to give a level of transparency in care delivery that means they can continually focus on improvement.
“They use innovative ways to engage their teams to ensure that everyone is focused on what they are amazing at and have a real opportunity to continually progress and be the best version of themselves in turn delivering exceptional care.”
