These provide flexible, spacious, and homely environments for independent living with as much or as little support as an individual requires.
Specialist integration homes offer an outcomes-based service for individuals with learning disabilities, autism and complex health, and mental health.
We have 11 homes across five locations in Lincolnshire to putting individuals from all over the country working with over 55 commissioning authorities nationwide.
We carefully consider the individuals needs and aspirations and never try to fit an individual into a service. We design their service around them.
The attributes and interests of each support team member are carefully matched to the specific needs of the individual.
Compatibility with other individuals is also so important and the main consideration when choosing the right home.
Bespoke Environments
Each individual has their own specialist apartment made appropriate for their specific needs and wishes.
This may include a wet room with waterfall shower, white rock walls, app-controlled water and electrics, painted walls or a mural, air-conditioning and integrated or freestanding bed for example.
In addition to a bedroom and en-suite, each individual has their own spacious living room connecting to the communal area.
Their living room has built-in flexibility, allowing for the installation of a personal kitchen, enabling them to live independently from the rest of the home.
Communal Area
Our focus is always on the possibility of social interaction, so each environment includes communal spaces and a garden. The communal areas can also be a pathway to greater social integration, allowing each individual to access it on their own terms.
Positive Support
A support team is chosen for their compatibility of interests, their skills, empathy and interaction with the individual. Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is the focus, with more specialist colleagues allocated for those with greater levels of complexity.
More Independent Living
For very complex individuals, Special integration homes can successfully support their integration or reintegration into a social care environment. For others may be a transition service and pathway into a more appropriate service.
Each location offers scope for further social integration with other individuals, whilst also facilitating access to the wider community.
