We are very pleased to announce that Home From Home Care has received a whopping eight (yes, eight!) nominations for the 2022 Lincolnshire Care Awards.
The Lincolnshire Care Awards is an annual celebration organised by the Lincolnshire Care Association to recognise outstanding work across the care sector in the county.
To have so many of our colleagues shortlisted for so many awards demonstrates the amazing skills, talents and passion they, and all of our team members bring to their work, as our managing director, Paul de Savary explains:
“Our colleagues are the lifeblood of what we do at Home From Home Care so they all play a vital role in making us one of the highest performing care providers in the country, with nine of our 11 homes rated Outstanding by the CQC.
“To have eight of our colleagues shortlisted for this year’s Lincolnshire Care Awards is testament to not only the individuals themselves, but our whole team. The range of categories that we have received nominations for showcases how dynamic our model of care really is and the amazing career opportunities with more than 90 different roles.
“As a family led service, we’ve always done things differently from other care providers and it’s particularly important to us that we really look after our team members. We expect a high level of commitment and dedication, but in return we put the work into helping each person to discover their talents, grow their skills and keep their careers rapidly moving forward. I wish the best of luck to our colleagues on the night.”
Rising stars, innovators and providers of outstanding care
Two of our young colleagues, Jodi and Sophie, are nominated in the Rising Star category. The Rising Star award recognises those who have worked in the care sector for no more than two years, and we’re hoping for repeat success after Jack received the award for 2021 at last year’s ceremony.
Our very own in-house professional chef Darren is nominated in the Care Home Cook/Chef category. Darren has recently started cooking workshops to teach colleagues how to cook healthy, nutritious meals for the individuals they support and their loved ones at home.
Anna is a finalist in the Care Innovator category, celebrating best practice in care innovation, while Clair is nominated in the Social Care Nurse and Nurse Associate category, rewarding those who use their expertise and clinical and technical knowledge to deliver effective care.
Jemma is nominated for the Workforce Development award, designed to acknowledge the role of the trainer with a care provider and Beth is nominated in the Registered Manager award category, recognising her high level of expertise and skills in managing the complex business of running a specialist care home.
Finally, our Health Partner Team is nominated for Outstanding Care Team at the awards, which is sponsored by the seven Lincolnshire District Councils.
The winners will be announced at the Lincolnshire Care Awards ceremony on Thursday 30 March 2023 at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Lincoln.
