Last year we supported our colleagues with a generous 10.5% pay rise.

Now, our attendance bonus is also going up to a whopping 6%!

Attendance bonus, what’s that?

In short, our attendance bonus means you get paid more for doing your job and being reliable. It’s available to all colleagues working in a support role. 

Starting out as a 1% bonus for a month without unauthorised leave, this bonus gets bigger and bigger for every successive month. Previously, it peaked at 4% after four months, Now, it goes all the way to 6% after six months.

And in case you were wondering, this bonus isn’t affected by annual leave, authorised sick pay, compassionate leave or flexible working, it’s only *unauthorised absences* which can break the chain. You really can’t say fairer than that!

With the 6% bonus in play, it boosts entry-level pay to the equivalent of £11.66 per hour or £24,318 per year!

The attendance bonus is designed as a reward for reliability and understanding the detrimental impact of unauthorised absence on both the home and other colleagues. It’s also a recognition of a colleague’s commitment and investment to their own role, the wider service and team.
