There are over 6.5million people in the UK who are carers for family members or friends. But being a carer can also be an extremely worthwhile and rewarding career.
Working in care offers a great sense of job satisfaction, particularly from the relationships you’ll form with the people you work with and the sense of personal achievement from helping others live their life to the full.
Home From Home Care provide fully personalised, homely environments for the individuals we support and design staff teams around the individual’s needs. Together with their core team, individuals are part of a unique community of compatible people living together and leading truly fulfilled lives.
Support workers at Home From Home Care help individuals get involved in a huge range of activities – from the adventurous, such as rock climbing and horse riding, to the more day-to-day, such as shopping and supporting them to clean their home.
We only recruit people with the right attitude and an enthusiasm for making a difference to people’s lives. We are currently looking for people from all walks of life, with or without experience in supporting people with learning disabilities and complex needs to join our team.
Roles include Personal Support Workers, Intensive Support Workers, Night Support Workers, Settlement and Support Workers and Positive Behaviour Support roles. Extensive training and guidance will be given to successful candidates.
Our unique training and progression opportunities means that people with the right skills and attitude can very quickly progress up the ranks within Home From Home Care. The majority of our Registered Managers were recruited internally which is something we are extremely proud of.
“The team are the best I’ve ever worked with. Everyone is so passionate and enthusiastic and because of this, we get a lot of success with the individuals we support.”
