With the tropical weather continuing, individuals at Bardney held a Hawaiian Beach Party at the weekend complete with Tiki Bar and even a temporary beach!
Individuals enjoyed making their own colourful Hawaiian shirts to wear to the event and accessorised with grass skirts, flower lei and tropical face paint. The event was a great opportunity for individuals to spend time with friends and the relaxed, welcoming party atmosphere allowed individuals to socialise on their own terms.
A surprise visit from an ice cream van was very popular, serving delicious cold treats and Kyle had a great time serving everyone mocktails from the Tiki bar. The homemade ‘beach’ provided a great sensory experience with everyone enjoying feeling the sand between their toes and beach balls and tennis provided further sporty entertainment.
