Investors In People Gold Award

Investors in People Gold

We are delighted to announce we have been awarded an Investors In People Gold accreditation.

When we opened ‘The Old Hall’ in Fiskerton, our first specialist residential care service for adults with complex needs, in 2005, we employed 25 staff members. The company now employs over 300 support staff across 11 homes, based in 5 locations – known as ‘micro communities’.

The Investors in People award bears testimony to the continued success of Home From Home Care. The report emphasised our dynamic vision, commitment to development of staff and drive to make a qualitative difference to the lives of adults with complex learning disabilities.

Established to set the standard for better people management, Investors in People is underpinned by a rigorous assessment framework. The standard focusses on three main attributes: leading and inspiring people, supporting and recognising high performance, and improving by delivering continuous development.

Paul de Savary, Managing Director of Home From Home Care comments “We are delighted to win this prestigious award. We have grown substantially over the past 12 years and our staff are the very cornerstone of the exceptional care and support we provide to our service users.

“We are driven by wanting to make the difference and now support over 80 adults with a range of learning disabilities and complex support needs. We place great emphasis on staff training and development as well as a collaborative working environment that empowers staff to change the lives of the individuals that we are privileged to support.

It is wonderful to gain this accreditation and we’re looking forward to continuing our growth whilst maintaining high standards in everything we provide.”
