EIGHT FINALISTS FOR THE LINCOLNSHIRE CARE AWARDS!

Lincolnshire Care Awards 2024

January 2025

We are delighted to announce that Home From Home Care has eight finalists heading to this year’s Lincolnshire Care Awards

The Lincolnshire Care Awards is an annual celebration in March, organised by the Lincolnshire Care Association, to recognise outstanding work across the care sector in the county.

Securing eight finalists showcases the breadth of talent, skills and passion across our outstanding team. Finalists include Sophie, one of our Senior Health Partners, for the ‘Front Line Leader’ award.  This recognises exceptional leadership qualities with clear commitment to improving the delivery of care and support of individuals in a service.

Michael, our Learning & Development Manager, is a finalist for the ‘Workforce Development’ award, which acknowledges determination in identifying the development needs of colleagues and establishing engaging training programmes.

Drew, a Support Worker from Orchard Lodge, has been flagged for his creative flair in cooking. The ‘Care Home Cook’ award commends the ‘whole home approach’ to food and nutrition – showing initiatives that have improved and enhanced the mealtime experience.

New talent at Home From Home Care has also been recognised, with three colleagues – Susan, Debra and Ekenedilichukwu – all finalists for the ‘Rising Star’ award. This celebrates a dynamic new care worker who, in the short time working in the sector, shows real passion and has made a positive impact on the people they support.

Managers at the Old Hall are also collective finalists for the ‘Working Together’ award –recognised for valuing colleagues’ insight and input, while working together for the wellbeing of everyone.

Finally Beth, in our Senior Locality Team, is up for the ‘Care Home Registered Manager’ award, which celebrates a manager who shows vision in developing person-centred care – supporting colleagues as well showing exceptional skills in managing a care home.

We’d like to wish all our Lincolnshire Care Award finalists’ good luck for the award ceremony, on 27th March at The Double Tree by Hilton. We’ll keep you posted with the results!
