This weekend Home From Home Care’s Summer BBQ was a great success with an afternoon of fun and games enjoyed by individuals from across Home From Home Care.
Held at Wellingore Memorial Hall, this annual event is a great opportunity for individuals we support to enjoy taking part in activities together and socialise with their families and staff. Everyone enjoyed a delicious hog roast lunch followed by a treat from a traditional ice cream van. Entertainments included learning circus skills, dancing to a disco and jumping on a bouncy castle – all proving lots of fun throughout the afternoon.
Home From Home Care now supports 85 individuals, in highly personalised services, making social events like the Summer BBQ a great opportunity for everyone to come together. With placements funded by 38 local authorities, families also travelled from across the country to join in the celebration.
