Learning and Development Trainer

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the HFHC Specialist Supported Living Learning & Development team on a full time basis!
If you have a passion for supporting new and current colleagues through sharing your knowledge and mentoring then this might be the perfect role for you!
Experience in a Supported Living environment is essential for this role.
This role will include having input on and delivering training content tailored to the HFHC Specialist Support Living environment.
This role would also include delivering workshops and care certificate observations on location where requested, so you must be able to drive your own vehicle.
Shift pattern will be confirmed at interview and will fit in with the current training delivery paradigm including earlies, lates and weekends.
- Deliver face to face training sessions as part of our three-week induction curriculum
- Assess colleagues understanding of subjects through workbook completion
- Assess colleagues’ competence at completing physical elements of training delivered
- Complete care certificate observations in the locations
- Contribute to training content review and creation
- Attend relevant training and complete CPD to remain compliant with regulations
- Attend meetings that are relevant to the team and to the role
- Report directly to the L&D Manager
About You
The successful candidate will have relevant teaching qualifications, be organised, have great time management, excellent communication skills, ability to establish effective relationships and build rapports quickly. Previous experience in health and social care is essential.
We need a professional, and motivated team player that works within our ‘ONE TEAM’ approach.
Having a full UK driving licence and own vehicle is essential to be considered for this position.
